Garena Free Fire's Project Cobra event is now underway with a full in-game reskin

Following the announcement of the Attack on Titan Crossover event yesterday, Garena has announced yet another event for their popular battle royale title Free Fire. It's called Project Cobra and will see the game receive a full in-game reskin.

It will also include a special interface alongside an array of in-game activities for players to do that will net them a bunch of free Project Cobra-themed content. During the event, they will be introduced to Shirou, an individual who is constantly trying to evolve in battle. As his abilities improve they begin the show Cobra effects that are increasingly visually impressive.

The activities players can expect to find during the Project Cobra event include the aforementioned special interface, peak day activities, cumulative login events, and numerous in-game box drops with Project Cobra-themed rewards waiting inside. Elsewhere, Bermuda Remastered, which was introduced in The New Beginning, will be available in various game modes including the likes of Team Deathmatch, Clash Squad and Gun King.

Meanwhile, Clash Squad Season 5 is now underway. The new Dynamic Duo System has also been implemented along with various other updates and adjustments to Training Grounds. Garena has also tweaked the social system to make it easier to invite other players to games and deal with invitations mid-game.

Finally, according to App Annie, Garena Free Fire was the most downloaded game in 2020. As such, Garena Free Fire players will be able to receive several in-game rewards to celebrate. All they have to do is log into the game between 4th and 8th February.

Garena Free Fire is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
