Wayward Souls’ Paladin update launches today on iOS

Rocketcat Games has released anticipated Paladin Update for its action adventure dungeon crawler, Wayward Souls, but only on iOS.

This update for the game adds the Paladin to the game as a playable character. The Paladin is a melee-focused class who also has an associated dungeon added to the game. Additionally, more music has been added as well as a few smaller changes.

The Paladin being added as a full class has been teased by Rocketcat Games since the game launched way back in 2014. He’s a character that is usually only available during the tutorial stage of Wayward Souls, and is much more powerful than the other characters, hence why he was so popular with the fanbase.

The update was released previously on PC but iOS users were left in the dark as to when they could get their hands on the character and his abilities. The developer then tweeted last week that the update had been submitted to the App Store and was releasing this week.

Sadly, however, it seems as though Android users will not be receiving this update due to a complication with Google Play. Rocketcat tweeted last night: “We hear that the Android version will not get the update, sadly, due to some Google Play changes”.

You can download Wayward Souls from the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android. It’s a paid title which costs $6.99.
