Following the announcement last week, The Demon Queen, Oichi has been added to the game as part of the new expansion, The Battle of Amatsu no Kuni. Alongside the newest hero, the expansion also introduces more cards and abilities for players to choose from.

Sengoku Basara introduces cards for Light Army commander Tokugawa Ieyasu and Dark Army commander Ishida Mitsunari alongside the first Hero from the IP, Oichi. She is a widow who has been suppressing her anguish and eventually found herself in Amatsu no Kuni.

Eventually, she meets a false priestess who uses her influence to turn Oichi into a demon queen by making her surrender to the abyss. Now she joins the fray as a Black elemental Hero with three different Hero Arts that stem from the anguish she has kept buried for a long time.

The first is called Dancing Dead and will dish out damage to an enemy unit that's equal to the number of Unit cards currently in your graveyard. In addition to that, if an enemy unit dies because of this ability, your Hero will gain +3 Life.

Despair, wail and perish! meanwhile, will put 3 units that have an MP cost of less than four from your Graveyard onto the field with all friendly units gaining +1/+1. The final ability is Dark Invitation which will activate the Death abilities of a friendly unit.

If you're unfamiliar with Teppen, it's a popular card game that uses various iconic Capcom characters as heroes. There are a mixture of single and multiplayer game modes to choose from and a plethora of cards to build your deck with.

Teppen is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
