Type: Energy Evolution is a match-3 puzzler that takes you through history

KruGames has released Type: Energy Evolution as a free to play match-3 puzzle game on Android devices.

Type: Energy Evolution takes you on a fascinating journey through the ages in the form of solving match-3 puzzle-type gameplay as civilisation develops all around you. You help a guy named Henry and his people as they enter the path of energy development, stretching back into the beginning of time and all the way forward into the highly technological future.

As he is a strong and wise leader, Henry’s journey will be long and interesting. You explore and upgrade buildings, solving the various puzzles and challenges they present, and look out for hidden events as you travel from one historical period to another.

The game has a unique combination of idle clicker mechanics and match-3 puzzles, with a huge variety of different levels and match chips, ensuring you will never get bored of what the game throws at you. For the players who enjoy finding secrets, there are also fun hidden events dotted throughout the game for you to discover.

Type: Energy Evolution is free to play, and KruGames has assured us it lacks in-app purchases or annoying adverts, so it should be very accessible to anyone who just wants a simple puzzle experience. You also don’t need an internet connection to play, making it perfect for on-the-go gameplay.

If you’d like to check out Type: Energy Evolution for yourself and start evolving through history, you can download it from the Google Play for Android store. There’s no word yet on whether it’s coming to iOS, but we’ll update you if any new information comes to light.
