A simple, but highly rated game

Slope Run is a racing game of sorts where the goal is to complete different tracks while controlling a ball. There are a variety of tracks to work with and complete. It's just you and the track, so you aren't competing against other players when racing.

In some ways, it's sort of like Impossible Road. In that classic mobile game, you controlled a vessel (which also looks like a ball) on a track. You try and get through as many checkpoints as you can. Essentially, that's how Slope Run except Impossible Road has more turns on its infinite track.

With Slope Run, the tracks are shorter so you can get through them pretty quick. Its simplicity makes it a quietly popular game on mobile. Here are a few things you should know about the game that has a five-star rating on the App Store.

Good for Quick Gaming Sessions

One of the beauties of mobile gaming is that there are many games of various sizes and lengths. If you're someone who maybe doesn't have a lot of time to dive into a full experience, then Slope RUn might be a solid game to play.

As mentioned before, the tracks are pretty short so you can zip through levels pretty quick. Also, you can get into another track very fast too so this is good for the game's pacing. It's one of those casual experiences that can make you appreciate mobile gaming's versatility.

It's also a fairly relaxing game. Not super chill, but its casual nature may make it feel that way at times. So, it's a fast-playing game that is also casual enough for any kind of gamer.

Pick Up and Play Mixed With Challenge

Slope Run is one of those games that's simple to pick up. "Pick up and play" is a saying that you've probably heard many times over the years about games. What that basically means is that it's not too sophisticated to understand when you first fire it up. In fact, it's very simple like we talked about.

With that being said, it does provide a slight challenge as well. This is a good way to keep you on your toes a bit as you play the game. Sometimes you'll find yourself going through tunnels, and when you do, you can't touch the walls at all or it's game over.

That's just one example. Then incorporate the fact that you'll sometimes need to jump from one platform to another without falling off. It's these small elements of difficulty that help gives you some competitiveness to go along with its easy, pick, and play nature.

Customization

One thing that I think most gamers can appreciate is some solid customization. Of course, this depends on the game at times, but when the option is there, it allows us to let out our creativity a bit. In Slope Run, there is some customization here, even if it is a bit light.

As you play, you'll unlock some new styles of ball to use. This certainly can give players the urge to continue playing since it's safe to say that games are more fun when they are rewarding. Again, this is a small feature for an already simple game, but it's a nice buttery touch to have.
