With all the chaos that's been going on in 2020, I can't argue that it was undoubtedly one of the craziest (for me, and I believe for many of you as well), from multiple points of view.

One thing, however, was actually surprisingly good, and that was the mobile gaming scene. I am quite a mean gamer if I could say that, and when I get into a game... I really get into it! I'm quite a competitive gamer, and when I find a game that's mesmerizing, I could spend one too many hours grinding to get to the top.

I genuinely love multiplayer online games, and even though lately I haven't played any crazy MMORPGs that could blow your socks off, I did play a handful of games that were, in my book, truly awesome!

League of Legends: Wild Rift

This title being the first on my list shouldn't come as a surprise! I've been playing LoL for about 6 years now, and I was thrilled to learn that it would launch on mobile. Even more surprising was the fact that it's actually a REALLY good game!

If you've been living under a rock and are not familiar with League of Legends at all, it's basically a MOBA - a really well-done one. And yes, I might be a little bit biased towards it, but can you blame me?

Since Wild Rift launched, I've played it for at least 2-3 hours a day, and the best part - it never gets boring, because no two games are the same. There are not too many champions or skins in the game at the moment, but the game's barely just launched, so they will definitely include more in the future (and I'm looking forward to that day because I really want to play my Ivern in Wild Rift).

Illusion Connect

Simply mentioning Illusion Connect instantly puts a smile on my face. I decided to give this game a try when I saw it on Google Play, and I slowly got drawn by it. The interactions are fun, the game's storyline is fantastic (yes, I actually read it), and the fact that you get to discover hidden things within the game makes it even more fun!

Of course, the challenging turn-based battles are what kept me glued to it, because they never get repetitive (believe it or not). The game's getting updated on a regular basis, there are plenty of in-game events to freshen things up, and the best part of it all - you can be a f2p player and still complete the end-game content.

You will get to decorate your own in-game "home", place your characters in there, give them gifts, and learn more about their past. Overall, it's a very entertaining game, especially if you love animes and gacha games.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross

I've been obsessed with the anime (Seven Deadly Sins) ever since I found out about it. I discovered the game about the same time I finished watching all the episodes, which was probably the best timing for it.

The game basically re-plays scenes from the anime (but animated 3D), and you can form a team with your favorite characters and interact with them. I've been super into it since I discovered that in my first pulls I got some of the strongest heroes in the game (lucky encounter I guess).

On the downside, the game is quite draining on your phone battery, which is quite a big deal - especially if you try to play the game non-stop as I do.

Teamfight Tactics

Although this game is not a 2020-release, I've been playing it regularly since its release, and with the update that it got in 2020 (Fates) you get to try some seriously unique strategies.

I'm not usually a diehard "card" game fan or an auto-chess fan, but TFT has really changed my view on things. It's engaging, it's addictive, and it's simply put - fun! And the best part about it? you don't need to know League of Legends to play TFT. I've even had friends who never even heard of LoL play this game, and they've been enjoying it probably more than I do!

There are absolutely no p2w mechanics, items, boosts, or anything similar. The only things you can choose to pay for are simply cosmetic, which shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying the game in its essence.

Mystic Mansion

This adorable match-three game is what I tend to spend all my spare time on. Whenever I want to unwind, to think of new ideas for the games I'm writing about, or to simply enjoy something "kawaii", I open Mystic Mansion and relax playing a couple of levels.

The game is nothing too complicated, really. I could even say that it can become rather boring after a point because it all gets quite repetitive in a way. Still, that doesn't change the fact that it's disgustingly adorable.

I would say that the game really got me hooked, once I finished decorating the first room and moved on to the second one because that's when I actually saw the end result of all my "hard work".
