DreamDasher has just been released on Google Play.

Inspired by modern adventure games, it’s a precision platformer in which you journey through a dangerous dream world to find life-saving crystals that you need to defeat the antagonistic Nightmare, an otherworldly creature infesting in these plains of existence.

You must learn to navigate the levels, master the controls and find the shortest path if you want to succeed. The game lets you control gravity by jumping, air-dashing, wall-sliding and inverting the gravity itself so you can fly through the air and overcome obstacles easily. As is evident by the title, dashing is also a key to your survival.

As you continue playing and progressing through the dream world, you will quickly get introduced to the Nightmare, which isn’t just a state of mind but a creature that chases you through the environment trying to stop you as you search for an exit. Evading this being is made more difficult with additional obstacles such as deadly spikes and gravity puzzles to work around.

There are also new abilities to be gained throughout your adventure, giving you new ways to navigate the world and providing new options when squared up against the Nightmare, whom you will encounter several times during the course of the game.

DreamDasher isn’t a long game, only equalling about one or two hours of total play, but it’s designed to be fun and challenging, offering a world full of clever surprises and interesting puzzles. It supports gamepad controls on mobile, which is the recommended input method, but also has touchscreen controls.

You can now download DreamDasher on Google Play for Android. It’s free to play with no adverts or in-app purchases.
