Golf Club: Wasteland is one of the many golf games that you can get for your iPhone or Android. However, this is unlike any golf game that you've played before. Its unique in how it looks and how it sounds. Yes, I know you've played Golden Tee Mobile and know how unique it is, but this is out of this world (almost literally).

The ultra-rich people of the world have moved to Mars after Earth crumbles due to the Great Ecological Catastrophe. You play the role of a human who feels homesick so he decides to go back to earth and play a round of golf through the beautiful and eerie ruins of earth.

It's actually a really relaxing game, filled with beautiful, otherworldly art to compliment your round of golf. Another aspect of the game that stands out is the radio that plays in the background. The station will play songs and talk shows while you enjoy your round in space. It's a small, but pretty cool feature, similar in ways to the detailed nature of Grand Theft Auto's iconic radio station inclusion when driving. But here are a few tips for when you tackle the Old Earth Golf Club (yes, I made that up) in this Fallout-esque golf game.

Be Careful With Your Putting

Judging power can actually be slightly tricky when starting out. On your tee shots but especially on your putts. Golf Club: Wasteland is a pretty casual game, but if you want to shoot the best score possible, it's good to able to drill those putts, just like in real golf.

It's a bit trickier to judge putt power at first. Luckily, once you're on the green, you don't need to worry about hitting a bad shot that knocks you off of it. But don't be surprised if you overhit your putts early on because the little shot arrow can be sensitive.

Even when you think you pulled back gently on it, the ball might go a bit too fast. So just get comfortable with the shot arrow. This also goes for tee shots too, but if you want to drill some one-putts, definitely dial in on them as best you can.

Think More Not Less

Most golf games are all about touch, and although that still kind of applies to Golf Club: Wasteland, being soft with your touch isn't always the best thing. Yes, we mentioned with the putting that the shot arrow can be a bit sensitive (which is not a bad thing, by the way), but on tee shots, it's a bit different.

It's really about what kind of holes you're playing. Some may require you to have the right amount of power on your shots. Your best bet is to go with more strength. Not saying to necessarily max out on your shot, but to but a bit more into than not.

Again, it's really dependant on the design of the hole you're playing. But here on this new Earth, it doesn't hurt to put a little extra pop in that stick as you listen to some tunes on the radio with cities, ruins, etc in the background. If you feel like you're hitting your shots too hard, then feel to tone it down just a bit.

Relax And Enjoy

\ Sure, Golf Club: Wasteland is a sports(ish) kind of game and we know games in that genre are competitive, but here, you can really just relax and enjoy your round. It's similar to many other great mobile games in the past such as Alto's Oddysey which has a popular Zen Mode in it or an open-world experience like Wilderless.

Play each of the holes and take in the scenery. You never know what you might see on each hole in this environmental golf course. Also, feel free to utilize the screen capture feature that the game offers. Yes, you can also use your phone's screen capture feature too, but the in-game one might give you a clearer picture.

The radio feature complements the game nicely as you play your lonely round of golf. You'll hear music and stories told from different hosts and guests. For those of us who listen to the radio while playing any video game, you might appreciate this. Or, if you want, you can listen to your own music or radio while playing too and it will also be enjoya
