Star Trek Fleet Command will introduce content from every Star Trek timeline from September 8th

Star Trek Fleet Commander initially released for iOS and Android back in 2018. Since then, the game has featured the 'Kelvin Timeline and characters from the 2009, 2013 and 2016 cinematic Star Trek Universe instead of making use of the whole franchise. However, that's set to change on September 8th, which diehard Trekkies will know is Star Trek Day.

From that day, the game will feature storylines, characters, ships, and more from every Stark Trek timeline. That means everything from Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek to Discovery and Picard. This new influx of content is the result of a partnership between Scopely and ViacomCBS Consumer Products.

Discussing this, Steve Huff, Senior Vice President of Product at Scopely said: “With over 50 years of content to draw from, this expanded partnership with ViacomCBS Consumer Products marks the first time all of these iconic Star Trek stories, characters, and universes will find a home in one immersive experience.”

He added: “We’re honored to be deepening our collaboration with ViacomCBS Consumer Products and contributing to the legacy of Star Trek through our shared mission of delivering an exceptional experience to fans all over the world, for many years to come.”

Star Trek Fleet Command has proven to be incredibly popular since it first launched with 78% of its players reportedly playing daily and spending an average of four hours in the game too. It's not short of dedicated players then so you should have no trouble getting into battles if you decide to jump in today ahead of the influx of content on September 8th.

Star Trek Fleet Command is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
