Monster Classic - Hero Adventure is a roguelike adventure game that's heading for iOS this Thursday

iMonster Classic – Hero Adventure is the latest game from Loongcheer Game, who may remember as the folks who published Idle Defense: Dark Forest last year. Their latest endeavour is a roguelike RPG that previously released for Android devices and is set to launch for iOS on 20th August.

The Android version of iMonster was released into Early Access on Google Play on 24th June this year and has so far racked up a solid 100,000+ downloads. It sees players taking on the role of a monster as you try to save the Devil King from a group of evil humans.

Before heading into a run through the game you'll be able to customise your monster by choosing from different hairstyles, eyes, mouths, ears, horns and tails alongside their overall colour. There's also a randomise button to hit if you'd rather see what monstrosities RNG can provide you with.

From there you'll make your way through a plethora of different dungeons, slaying enemies and testing your skills against powerful bosses. As you progress there will be various pieces of equipment to collect and forge to make your character stronger.

Beyond that, you'll have a plethora of skills to choose from to upgrade your character. In iMonster this is represented through editing your genes, which will evolve the current skills that your character possesses.

Naturally, this is a roguelike so you can expect each run to change somewhat with different weapons to pick up and enemies to battle against. You can check out some of the gameplay in the embedded trailer above.

iMonster Classic – Hero Adventure is available to pre-order now over on the App Store whilst it can already be downloaded from Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
