Castle of White Night is a game that is retro and simple in design, but modern in adventure. The folks at Game Stew have created an intriguing game that combines old school graphics, first-person gameplay, and good old dungeon crawling.

And when I say dungeon crawling, boy do I mean dungeon crawling. You enter a massive Japanese-style castle and upon entering, you'll notice that the hallways are pretty narrow and the ceilings seem relatively low. So if that doesn't say "dungeon crawler" then I don't know what does.

You have a starting character and can unlock three others by playing the game or making a one-time purchase. Your goal is to defeat the "Pale Devil" that stalks the halls of the castle. In order to beat him though, you need to defeat 100 enemies (yes, 100) known as "Twisted Souls" or mini-bosses of sorts. Castle of White Night is a terrific game and we give you a few reasons why you should give it a try if you're a fan of dark fantasy games.
