Back in May, Niantic announced that two of their Community Days would be selected by player vote from a choice of four. Now, they're bringing this approach back, allowing fans to select who gets to be in the spotlight during September and October.

The four choices this time around will be Charmander, Caterpie, Grimer and Porygon. There are no details just yet on how the vote will be made but it's likely that it will follow the same Twitter poll system that was used for the previous fan decision with the first placed Pokemon being featured in September and the runner up appearing in October.

They also haven't spoken on which exclusive moves will be available for these Pokemon just yet either, with more information expected to be announced soon. Although I'm sure we can all agree that irrespective of what these moves will be, the right decision will always be to vote for Porygon, although happy Grimer does look very cute.

In more immediate Pokemon Go news, players will soon be able to begin the last of the Unlock Weeks that were earned during Pokemon Go Fest 2020. During this period, which begins on 14th August, Sewaddle, Cottonee, Emolga, and Bouffalant will all make their Pokemon Go debut whilst Genesect will appear in 5-Star raids with a chance of it being Shiny.

Pokemon Go is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
