Mario Kart Tour's Wild West Tour is now underway with Cowboy Wario available in the Pipe Spotlight

Mario Kart Tour's Exploration Tour has now come to an end so appearing in its place will be the Wild West Tour. This is set to run from today until 12th August at 6:59 UK time. This means a whole host of new races and challenges to beat in that time.

There will also be new Tour Gifts up for grabs, which will vary depending on if you have the Gold Pass or not. If you don't you'll be able to get Wendy, a Kart and Glider. Meanwhile, those who are Gold Pass subscribers will be able to get a Bullet Bill Hanafuda Glider, gold train kart and pink Shy Guy driver.

There will also be two different Spotlight Pipes available during this tour with the first featuring a cowboy version of Wario, Brown Offroader kart and Rainbow Starchute Glider. Then halfway through the tour, on August 4th, players will be able to get Nabbit for the first time, a Carrot kart and Nabbit Oilpaper Umbrella glider.

There will also be a few slight changes to the tour as well. For instance, when players clear a cup they'll now see an ending movie. Once that video has played they will be able to fire a special pipe that will guarantee them a High-End pull.

Elsewhere, players will now be able to earn rewards based on their All-Cup Ranking. These come in the form of a special badge for anyone who places in the top 1000. There are three different badge variants available depending on where you finish. They include Top 1000, Top 100 and Top 10.

Finally, events will start appearing in the middle of tours. These will allow players to collect event tokens which can then be exchanged in the Event Shop. The first of these is set to take place on 5th August at 7:00 am, though this will differ depending on your timezone.

Mario Kart Tour is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
