Pokemon Go will host a Snubbull-based event this Saturday with a second Incense Day the following week

Pokemon Go has a whole host of events underway this month with the Throwback Research and the next Go Battle League Season starting next week. And it doesn't stop there, Niantic has recently announced there will also be a Snubbull Limited Research event and the second Incense Day.

The Snubbull related event is due to take place this Saturday, 9th May between 8 am and 10 pm local time. It will feature over 50 limited-time research tasks that can be completed without needing to leave the house.

In addition to that, there's an increased chance you'll come across a shiny Snubbull, so keep your eyes peeled for a pale blue version of the Fairy Pokemon. It's also important to remember that the Limited Research will expire at 10 pm, so make sure you have everything completed by then.

The following week on Sunday 17th May there will be a second Incense Day that will feature Water and Dark-type Pokemon. This event will run from 11 am to 5 pm local time. During this period, incense will attract more Carvanha than usual, with an increased chance of finding a shiny version of the Savage Pokemon.

Much like the previous Incense Day, players will be able to buy a 1 PokeCoin bundle from the shop that will net them 3 incense. The Pokemon attracted to it beyond Carvanha will vary depending on the hour. The first hour of the event will be Water-types and the second Dark. It will then continue to alternate between the two each hour until 5 pm.

During Water-type hours you can expect to see the likes of Horsea and Tympole whilst Alomomola will be a rarer find. When it flips to Dark types you can expect to find Murkrow and Sableye more commonly with Scraggy popping up occasionally.

Pokemon Go is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
