World of Tank Blitz will introduce its first battle pass tomorrow which has been called Operation Onslaught. It will run from 1st May until the 29th. Alongside that, Wargaming has also announced that they will be teaming up with Bandai Namco to bring some more Girls und Panzer content to Blitz.

Operation Onslaught will consist of 40 different stages players can progress through by completing battle missions that will earn them stamps. Along the way, they'll receive a variety of rewards that will vary depending on if you have the free or premium version of the battle pass.

The Free Pass will reward players with Premium Account Days, Gold, Credits, Free XP, Avatars, Camos, and certificates for vehicle research when they reach certain stages. Meanwhile, the Premium Battle Pass, which will cost $5, will grant players rewards for each stage they complete.

The rewards included in this version of the pass will include two tanks. These are the Tier IV Light Tank, the Covenanter and Thunder, a Tier VI Russian heavy. If you opt for the premium route you will also be able to earn the rewards from the free version simultaneously.

Elsewhere, Girs und Panzer content has now rolled into the game with two new tanks. The first of those is the Firefly Saunders CP, a Tier VI British medium that boasts the most accurate gun and highest penetration among others in its tier.

The second is the IS-2 Pravda SP which is intended to be a good mix or armour, manoeuvrability and firepower. In addition to that, the three Girls und Panzer tanks that are already in the game will get characters from the show as in-game avatars.

World of Tanks Blitz is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
