World of Tanks Blitz is receiving an update that will introduce a brand new mode. This will be called Gravity Force Mode and it sounds pretty amazing. You will be able to battle other players in space while dealing with anti-gravity settings. So some space exploration combined with slow-motion action for your tanks.
The battle will take place on the 'Sea of Tranquility' - yes, that one. So it's a moon map then, which gives you plenty of room to move around. And there are amazing rewards for the top players in this mode which runs from April 10th -16th. And what do those rewards include? Certificates of ownership for the real Sea of Tranquillity? Yup, you read that right. The best players throughout the duration of the event will technically own a part of the moon.
The Lunar Embassy which sells moon land has teamed up with World of Tanks Blitz to make this happen. And by playing on the Sea of Tranquility, you're giving yourself a personal glimpse of what you'll be owning if you come out as one of the top players.
"We were delighted to partner with the World of Tanks Blitz team tank battles to the surface of the Moon – and we will be thrilled to welcome some new neighbours on to our Lunar home," Dennis Hope, Head Cheese at Lunar Embassy said. "This is one small step for man, but one giant leap for Tank-kind.’
And although the event isn't too long, the hope for the folks at World of Tanks is that it gives you a unique experience in the mobile game. And of course, having fun battling it out in zero gravity.
"We are excited to bring players an outer-space experience, with real outer-space prizes!," Andrey Ryabovol, Product Director ofWorld of Tanks Blitz said. "Get prepared for moon mechanics that will have commanders and tanks fighting physics across many different maps, and we look forward to rewarding the best out-of-this-world warriors amongst you!"
