Black Desert Mobile introduces a boss rush mode, PvP ranking system, and an all-new area to explore

Black Desert Mobile's most recent update is one of its biggest yet, adding a boss mode to test your mettle on, a PvP ranking system for the more competitive players out there, and an all-new map to explore and plunder.

Boss rush mode sees the return of Black Desert Mobile's most challenging bosses. Taking these hulking brutes down will net you more loot and boss knowledge, but be sure that you're well-prepared before heading out to face them.

Adding to the challenge is the fact that the bosses now have different attack patterns and phases from their original versions. This likely means even the most battle-hardened of players will still have a tough time with them.

The PvP Arena mode has received a ranking system, giving players the chance to compete to become the best of the bunch. You'll start being ranked after you've finished your first 10 matches. This should help the game to match you with players who've shown similar levels of skill in the arena.

The system will refresh every season, and – assuming you do well – you can expect to earn some special bonuses at the end of each season.

Another big addition is the Terrmian Village map. It'll be accessible for two weeks starting from today, April 7th. Those who venture to the village will find a series of quests to take on that, when completed, will get you unique rewards. There are also several mini-games to try out, including making shaved ice, catching fish, and searching for buried treasure. You can view the full patch notes over on the game's official site.

If you're a fan of MMOs and haven't yet given it a go, you'll find Black Desert Mobile available for download now as a free-to-play title from both the App Store and Google Play.
