Tons of great games in the mix

Finalists for the Google Play Indie Games Festival have now been revealed
|

Earlier this year, Google opened up submissions for this year's Google Play Indie Games Festival. It's an international competition that aims to celebrate the very best of indie gaming from across Europe, Japan, and South Korea.

Now, a list of finalists has been whittled down from hundreds of submissions. There are 20 finalists from each of the three regions, and I'm sure you'll recognise a decent number of them. They'll all receive promotions and prizes and compete to earn some top rewards reserved for the overall winners.

Unfortunately, as you might have guessed, the finals have had to be postponed indefinitely due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19. They were originally set to take place on April 25th in Poland, Japan, and South Korea. "The health and safety of finalists, jury members, players and others involved is our top priority. Please stay tuned for further announcements", said a post on Google's developer blog.

And so, without further ado, here are the finalists for each region.
