NBA 2K Mobile's Rainmakers theme launching March 11th

NBA 2K Mobile has revealed its latest update after teasing an in-game image of NBA great Ray Allen preparing to release a shot. Well, it turns out that this new theme is dedicated to the art of the three-point shot, which has become an immensely critical part of today's basketball.

This, in huge part, is due to the success of Stephen Curry, who won back-to-back MVPs thanks to his prolific shooting ability and playmaking. His teammate Klay Thomspon also played a role in changing the game to the way it is now.

You now have power forwards and centres firing off threes more than ever before. In the new NBA, the long-range ball is key to success, and this new theme represents that.

Leading the latest cards is the aforementioned Allen, who boasts a power (PWR) level of 10,583, making for a deadly addition to any MyTEAM. This is a craftable diamond card that you can also earn.

Allen is known as one of the greatest shooters of all time, which helped him average nearly 20 points per game during his career. Early on in his career, he was a terrific dunker as well as a shooter.

His career included 10-all-star appearances and two NBA championships. He's now a Hall of Famer.

The next major highlight of the set is current superstar Devin Booker, who is widely regarded as one of the NBA's best scorers. His card is an Onyx with a PWR level of 6,173, leading the charge for current players in the set.

Booker won the three-point contest in 2018 and was selected as a 2020 NBA All-Star. In 2017, he put together one of the best offensive performances ever, scoring 70 points in a single game.

The Rainmakers theme will be available on March 11th and includes five other mystery players for you to earn. So step behind that line and let it fly.
