Archosaur Games' hotly anticipated MMORPG Dragon Raja is now available for both iOS and Android. It's racked up over 1.5 million pre-registers since it was first announced after impressing with the quality of its graphics.
The developers used motion capture tech alongside realistic light and shadow effects to create the cyberpunk-inspired Toyko you'll explore in Dragon Raja. It even has day/night cycles and different weathers where your character will leave footprints in the snow and the ground will be slick after it has rained.
It's all very impressive on the graphics front, but we're keen to see if the game itself is up to the same standard. Dave Aubrey has had some hands-on time with the game where he found it to be quite compelling in terms of story finding it more personal than a lot of other MMOs available on mobile.
That certainly seems to be a deliberate choice on Archosaur Games' part as they claim the world will change based on the various decisions the player will make throughout the game. It will feature multiple endings and NPCs will react differently based on the choices you make along the way.
It also promises extensive character customisation with supposedly thousands of different combinations to make your hero feel like your own. There are also careers you can select for your characters to allow them to have multiple personas.
There will also be a mixture of PvE and PvP combat that plays out in real-time with servers that can reportedly support a large number of players at the same time. It has also launched with instant voice chat so you can easily talk to your friends whilst playing.Looking for a new JRPG? Here are 25 of the best available on iOS
