Labyrinth Legend is a roguelike action RPG that's available now for iOS and Android

Labyrinth Legend is an action RPG from Sasuke Shimoyama. It originally launched last year for Android and earlier this month for iOS, so it might be a worth second look if you're on the lookout for a new ARPG and missed the initial release.

The game takes place in a kingdom that has been placed under a mysterious curse by its queen that prevents anyone from being able to leave. However, within the kingdom is a labyrinth that may hold the answers behind the curse and how to lift it. Of course, it's filled with numerous monsters that aren't happy about people trying to pass through.

It has a very straightforward gameplay loop, you'll hack and slash your way through auto-generated dungeons slaying a host of different enemies and collecting new equipment to kit out your character with. As you delve deeper into these dungeons you'll have to do battle with tough monsters that promise to really test your skills.

There are also multiple rarities of the fear you'll find scattered throughout the dungeons. The rarer weapons may come with extra traits that make them a little more useful in a pinch. For instance, you might find a boomerang that also explodes on impact with enemies or a bow that fires extra-large arrows to inflict more damage on your enemies.

Outside of the dungeons themselves, you'll head back to the village which will act as a hub area. Here you'll be able to unlock new skills and upgrade your weapons. You'll also be able to craft different accessories that have a variety of special effects that you can tinker with to find what best suits your preferred playstyle.

Labyrinth Legend is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with a single IAP that removes ads which costs $2.99.
