Black Desert Mobile's 'Field of Valour' event set to run for one week only

Pearl Abyss has today announced an all-new feature for its epic fantasy MMORPG, Black Desert Mobile. The 'Field of Valour' is a battlefield on which you'll wage war against hordes of enemies as part of a five-person party of adventurers.

Each battle lasts a lengthy 30 minutes, meaning you and your guild members are going to have quite the fight on your hands. In order to gain entry to the Field of Valour, you'll first need to collect and spend valour tokens. These can be collected from chests and enemies, though they'll also occasionally be available as log-in rewards.

A word of warning, though: The Field of Valour is open for one week only. During its limited-time run, you'll be able to earn great rewards alongside your friends, such as rare weapons, armour, Dark Energy, gold coins, and tons of useful silver.

On top of all that, the Shakatu's Gear Shop event will also be open for one full week. Here, you can purchase weapons and armour with the ancient gold coins you've accumulated over time. Any items purchased will have a randomly selected gear level, so there's an element of luck to it all. The gear on offer ranges from normal to mystical, which is currently the highest, most powerful item type in the game.

Not content to leave it there, Pearl Abyss has also boosted the probability of acquiring high-grade gear from Shakatu's Gear Shop until the next in-game update. Basically, now is a great time to nab yourself some top-tier gear if you have the gold to spend.

We've covered Black Desert Mobile a great deal since its global launch in December of last year. The Sorceress class was recently added for players to test out. She's the first of many planned post-launch character classes.

If you'd like to read more about Black Desert Mobile, DokeV, and Crimson Desert, I recently put together an interview with Pearl Abyss America CEO Jeonghee Jin.

You'll find Black Desert Mobile available now as a free-to-play title from both the App Store and Google Play.
