Black Desert Mobile will be available for pre-download on December 9th, so players can create their character early

The release of the hotly anticipated MMORPG Black Desert Mobile is now less than a week away with the official launch being 11th December. However, Pearly Abyss has now announced that you’ll be able to pre-download the game from 9th.

That won’t just be a case of pre-loading like you often can with certain console and PC releases though. Once downloaded you’ll also be able to create your Family Name and customise your character. Which is a nice move, as Black Desert Mobile has a plethora of customisation options it’ll probably take folks a while to decide what they want their new character to look like.

Black Desert Mobile currently sits at 4 million pre-registers ahead of its launch next week so undoubtedly a lot of people are going to be excited that they’ll be able to start customising their character a couple of days before. You can catch a glimpse of the customisation options in the trailer above.

They’ll also be able to choose their character’s class so as soon as the game is officially live, they'll be ready to immediately dive in. There are five classes to choose from which are Warrior, Ranger, Valkyrie, Giant and Witch.

Dave Aubrey recently wrote a preview of how Black Desert Mobile is shaping up at the moment and his impressions are fairly positive from the time he’s put in so far. He believes that it gets a lot of things right where other mobile MMOs miss the mark and even said that people who aren’t fans of the genre normally may enjoy it.

Black Desert Mobile will be available globally on the 11th of December on the App Store and Google Play. It will be available pre-download on the 9th. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
