Bounty Hunter Space Lizard, the popular turn-based strategy game, ditches all ads and IAPs for iOS and Android

Over on Reddit, a developer of the acclaimed turn-based strategy game Bounty Hunter Space Lizard has announced that the free-to-play title has now ditched all ads and IAPs. If you haven't played this one before, it sees you taking on the role of a down-on-his-luck lizardman, who decides to head out on an adventure of self-discovery.

It's said to have taken plenty of inspiration from the likes of Hoplite and Enyo, both games we've covered and enjoyed in the past. What really sets it apart, though, are its various roguelike elements and cute aesthetic.

A typical level sees you slashing and shooting your way to victory, with the odd explosion thrown in for good measure. There are 20 levels to take on, with each being fairly small to keep the tactical turn-based action intense. There's also a bit of story to follow, as well as two varied skill paths to explore.

Developer Stay Inside Games has supported the game since launch, adding fresh content and various quality-of-life improvements. If you're a fan of the genre, you've no reason not to check it out now. And so you'll find Bounty Hunter Space Lizard available for download from both the App Store and Google Play.
