Pokemon Masters' next Sync Pair will be Glacia and Glalie

With Glalie being able to Mega Evolve

Pokemon Masters' next Sync Pair will be Glacia and Glalie

The official Twitter account for Pokemon Masters has revealed that Glacia and Glalie will be the next Sync Pair to arrive in the game. Our previous post last week mentioned an ice-type event would start on the 14th November so we can expect to see this new duo appear then too.

Glacia first appeared as an elite four member in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. In the remakes of those titles, her Glalie would be able to Mega Evolve during rematches and that's been carried over to Pokemon Masters. Mega evolving into Mega Glalie – which I adore for its silliness – will be an option when this Sync Pair arrives and will see boosts to its Speed and Special Attack.

Thanks to the datamining efforts of Gamepress we also know more about the latest pairs moveset as well knowing it will be able to Mega Evolve. Glacia and Glalie will be a 5-star sync pair, though at this point that's pretty standard fare for any new pairs added to the game.

Glalie will take on a support role in any team he joins having access to 'X Regen All' which will allow his teammates to heal over time. Additionally, he'll have another move called 'Attention Here!' which not only makes your opponents target Glalie but it will give your allies a Special Attack buff too.

As someone who's unhealthily obsessed with making Chandelure the focal point of my team, this all sounds very useful for allowing my favourite haunted ceiling decoration to unleash large amounts of damage unopposed.

Pokemon Masters is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
