More gems are the main takeaway

Pokemon Masters producer details November and December changes

Pokemon Masters producer Yu Sasaki has released his third message to players as they detail their continued efforts to improve the game. The latest statement focuses on the plans they have through November and December.

As mentioned in the original roadmap their main focus in November is changing how much players are rewarded for various events. The Caitlin and Reuniclus event that is currently available has actually been the start of this, where the number of gems you can earn in total has been increased by 900. That's three more Sync Pair Scout pulls just for completing a fairly easy event.

This increased gem earning potential has extended to the Ice-Type Training Event that will start on 14th November where you will earn a further 600 gems for completing all associated missions. Additionally, as we mentioned earlier this week, you'll be able to get 4200 if you log-in every day this month.

In mid-November, there will also be a new rally event that will announce their progress as they hit certain milestones. More importantly, though, there's an additional log-in bonus for more gems and items as well as gems for hitting those milestones.

When December rolls around the level cap limit for all sync pairs will be unlocked, making the new limit 120. To account for this a new difficulty category will be added to course so you can get the required items to hit this cap. The rewards for Very Hard and Super Hard course are also going to be altered slightly.

There will also be a new event in early December that will see the arrival of a Trainer who uses a Legendary Pokemon. They will be scoutable by taking part in the event. I'm hoping it's Tobias and Darkrai personally, though he's only appeared in the anime to my knowledge, so it seems unlikely.

Additional December updates will see the addition of daily vouchers that can be exchanged to strengthen Sync Pairs, Weekly bingo missions and a Sync Pair viewing feature. I'm sure we'll get more details on what those specifically are nearer the time.

Finally, we also learned that the difficulty of EX Challenges will be adjusted so that you're not forced to using specific Sync Pairs. In terms of singleplayer content, they are also planning to add a new mode called Battle Villa in February, that will apparently provide a different battle experience.

Pokemon Masters is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
