PUBG Mobile's new Payload Mode arrives today alongside a Walking Dead Skin

PUBG Mobile's Payload mode has finally been added to the game. Player's have been anticipating the new mode for a while and now they can skydive into it. Alongside the arrival of the Payload mode player's will also be able to unlock a Rick Grimes – of Walking Dead fame – skin between now and the 8th November.

This new mode brings a whole host of new features to the PUBG Mobile, most notable of which is the addition of helicopters. They'll be able to hop into an attack helo and cause some death from above on their journey to win that Chicken Dinner. There's also Vehicle Repair Packs now too, so if you're helicopter or ground vehicle is damaged you'll now have a way to repair it.

Sticking with the aerial theme, players can now call in airstrikes to various areas across the map. Now with all of this potential aerial bombardment, folks with their boots on the ground are going to need more firepower too, so several high-powered weapons have also been added.

These new firearms include the RPG-7, M79 Grenade Launcher, M134 Mingun and M3E1-A. You'll be able to find these weapons in Super Weapon Crates. These are special airdrops that will spawn every 3 minutes and can have the aforementioned munitions as well as level 3 armour.

Finally, reviving is the new thing in Battle Royale games now thanks to Apex Legends. So of course, PUBG Mobile now has that too. Here it's called Teammate Recall and will require you to retrieve your teammate's identification card when they are killed and take it to a Communication Tower so that you can revive them.

PUBG Mobile is available now for the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
