A recent community post on the official Call of Duty: Mobile Reddit reveals a number of changes that are in the works for the popular FPS. Chief among them was announcing that they are looking into controller support, something numerous players have been clamouring for. A few other quality of life changes have also been outlined too.

Of course, most players will be interested in the addition of controller support. Unfortunately, at this moment in time, we only know that it's being tested with no actual guarantee that it will be added in future. The post states they're looking into the possibility of adding the much-requested feature but would only do so if it is 'properly implemented and balanced' and asking players to 'hang tight'.

So we've got a little wait until we know if controller support will be added to the game but at least we know it's under considerations. In the meantime, we've made a guide on what we believe is the best touchscreen control set up to help you rise to the top.

Beyond controller support, they are also looking into different options for logging into the game. Currently, the only two options players have upon loading up the game are to sign in as a guest or via Facebook. Not everyone, including myself, wants to sign up to everything using a social media account so it's good to hear they're working on alternative options.

They also spoke in more general terms about performance, simply stating that they working to ensure that it'll run correctly on all supported devices. Similarly, they also said they're looking to include additional options to report players for cheating beyond tapping the red exclamation mark in the After Action report.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
