The mobile Battle Royale space is actually fairly populated at this point. Fortnite, PUBG Mobile, Knives Out, Rules of Survival, FortCraft, Garena Free Fire… The list goes on and on when it comes to imitators and iterations of the battle royale genre. But now, Call of Duty Mobile has stepped onto the scene with loads of smaller multiplayer modes and maps, and a big battle royale mode just to prove it can.

But not only that, it has already cemented its place as one of the best performing, looking, and playing mobile battle royale games. And it's only been out for a day. It's hard to argue with the fact it looks incredible for a mobile title, and the high framerate is a bonus.

It all makes for an interesting and engaging battle royale experience, one that stands up next to the big boys of the genre, and here you will find the tips you need to win Call of Duty Mobile's BR mode over and over again.

The mobile BR experience

This has a lot in common with other mobile BR games. Buildings containing loot on the floor, auto-loot, auto-open doors, on-screen touch controls, the works. If you've played other mobile BR games, then, for the most part, you can slip right in and feel comfortable.

Of course Call of Duty mobile has a few changes and advantages over other mobile battle royale games. For one, the performance level for the game is much higher than others and therefore feels much smoother to play and interact with.

Another that I'm a big fan of is the implementation of an Apex Legends-like Ping system, which allows you to highlight items and areas in order to tell teammates to look out for opponents or equipment. This is a truly excellent addition.

1
Range and scopes

Scopes are super important in Call of Duty Mobile's BR mode. If you don't have a good scope, then there's no way you're taking down your opponents.

This also means you need weapons with a decent range. It's good to keep a pistol on hand, but shotguns? They just don't really have a place in the battle royale, when even an SMG can get kills from a long range with a good scope.

Make sure to pick weapons capable to killing from a distance, and finding the scopes which fit them.

2
An eye on the map

The map is super important in battle royale mode especially. When running around, it may be difficult for you to discern where a certain sound or gunshot came from. But on the map, enemies are painted with icons when they make noise in your immediate vicinity, or shoot guns from a larger range.

This is essential when it comes to properly hunting down your opponents, and not letting them surprise you.

This is especially good when you're working as a team, and will allow you to find your warring teammates easily.

3
Teamwork. Or not.

Call of Duty Mobile allows you to drop into the BR in solos, duos, or team of four. Each has it's own advantages, and a team is definitely good to adjust to how the BR plays out, but solos is excellent fun.

The biggest difference between the modes is really ensuring you truly work as a team. If you drop into team games, stick with your partners and victory is pretty much assured. Make sure to use the ping system to highlight good loot and enemies.

Solos meanwhile will see you primarily concentrating on getting the best loot and guns for yourself, staying in the safe zone, and keeping an eye on the map to locate opponents.
