A shocking revelation

A datamine of Pokemon Masters has revealed that Elesa and Zebstrika might be heading to the game this month

A datamine by Gamepress has revealed a potential Sync Pair addition for Pokemon Masters this month alongside Spotlight Scout for an existing duo. The new Sync Pair will be Elesa and Zebstrika whilst Brendan and Treecko will receive a Spotlight Scout later this month.

So you'll have the opportunity to get Elesa and Zebstrika on 8th October when they make their way into the game. The Spotlight Scout will be available from 8th to 31st October. Elesa is the leader of the Nimbasa gym who you will have faced in Pokemon Black and White and their sequels.

They will be a 5-star sync pair and Zebstrika will take up the strike role meaning she'll be good for dishing out electric damage whilst being weak to ground moves. She'll have access to X Attack for increasing her damage output as well as move that will restore some HP and guaranteeing the next attack will be critical.

Like all Pokemon in Masters, you'll also be able to unlock and choose from two different passive abilities. Zebstrika's two passive choices are Hit and Run 2 and Lithe. Hit and Run 2 will give her an occasional speed increase after using a move whilst Lithe will prevent her from ever getting paralyzed. This is something that's usually inherent to electric types in the main series games.

Brendan and Treecko's Spotlight Scout, which will give you an increased chance of obtaining the pair will be available from 24th October to 11th November. It's a little strange they're not including a ghost sync pair over the Halloween period but maybe they have something else planned for that.

Pokemon Masters is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
