Pokemon Masters adds another starter Pokemon Sync Pair with Hilbert and Oshawott

Pokemon Masters continues it's frequent adding of sync pairs by throwing Hilbert and Oshawott into the mix. As you've probably noticed at this point, there's also a new training event and EX challenge included in this update.

Hilbert is the male protagonist of both Pokemon Black and White and their sequels. So, – much like with Lyra earlier this month – he's been paired up with one of the starters from his region. Oshawott, who is the best Unova starter Pokemon and no one will change my mind. The two will be a 5-star Sync Pair.

Hilbert and Oshawott's arrival also means they'll have their own Spotlight Scout. That means that until the 8th October you'll have an increased chance to bag yourself the Sea Otter Pokemon and its trainer. Spotlight Scouts for Lyra and Blue are still available if for some bizarre reason you prefer Chikorita and Pidgeot to Oshawott.

To help level up your newly acquired Scalcop wielding otter you'll be able to take part in the Water-Type Training Event. Here you'll come up against a number of fire trainers including Flint and his Infernape. You'll need to have completed chapter 5 of the main story to participate in this event and it can also be played in co-op.

Finally, there's also a new EX challenge where you'll be able to take on Flannery and her Torkoal. Defeating them will earn yourself a 1 and 2-star water pin.
