Cut down those Titans

Attack on Titan Tactics is available for iOS and Android now in the US, Canada and Australia

Attack on Titan Tactics was announced earlier this year with a vague release date of the Fall. Now – so long as you live in the US, Canada or Australia – it's available now for iOS and Android

If this is the first time you're hearing about Attack on Titan Tactics, then allow me to fill you in. It's a tower defence game where you will be tasked with deploying an elite team of Scouts to prevent the Titans from destroying your base.

As you can see from the trailer it actually works in a very similar way to Pokemon Masters, which should be surprising since DeNa are the developers of this game. You'll have an energy bar at the bottom of the screen that will slowly fill. Each of your characters will cost a certain amount to deploy and once you have enough energy you simply drag them onto the battlefield and they'll do their thing.

For the dedicated Attack on Titan fan, there will be a number of new story threads in this game that you won't be able to find anywhere else. As well as following the plot from the very first season of the anime there will also be entirely new content added in as well.

There are over 50 characters available from the show including Eren Jaeger, Captain Levi and Annie Leonhart. It should come as no surprise that these will be obtained through a gacha style system. Following a successful pre-register campaign, new players will start with 300 Crystals which will allow you to get 10 new troops for your team.

Attack on Titan Tactics is available now on the App Store and Google Play if you live in the US, Canada and Australia. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
