Pre-registration opens for Webzen’s MU Origin 2

One of 2019’s most eagerly anticipated MMORPGs

Pre-registration opens for Webzen’s MU Origin 2

Pre-registration for one of the most promising MMOs of the year, Webzen’s MU Origin 2, is now available for Android players. For those not in the know, MU Origin 2 brings us an up-to-date take on the lore, characters, and gameplay mechanics of the classic PC-based MU Online.

Probably the most important choice you’ll make in MU Origin 2 is which of the three starter classes to go with. There’s the angelic, arrow-firing Elf; the devastatingly powerful Dark Knight; and the staff-wielding, spell-casting Dark Wizard. After deciding on that, a wealth of dungeons, quests, and game modes will become available to take on.

And remember that it’s an MMORPG, so you’ll have the option to create guilds, meet new friends, and take on the hardest dungeons as a part of a powerful team. Rival teams can be fought in the game’s Harmatium, though the arena-based 1v1 matches are just as intense and worth getting involved in.

The game also offers an expansive world, full of deadly foes and hidden secrets. Mounts can be collected and used to traverse the landscape, while guardian animals are incredibly helpful when in the heat of battle.

Now that the closed beta on Android has come to an end, Webzen have released some stats and facts about what players got up to in their time with the game. The most popular starting class turned out to be the Dark Wizard, with 43.7% of players opting for the magic-based character; the Dark Knight came in second place with 36.3%, while the Elf class managed to draw in only 20%.

An incredible 2,337,791 tower levels were cleared, and there were a whopping 38,274 casualties in PVP. And with over 306,925,432,548 zen having been collected overall, it’s clear that the beta drew in quite a crowd.

MU Origin 2 is set for release during the first half of 2019, and it’ll be available on both Android and iOS. If you’re looking to pre-register for the Android version, you can do so now over on Google Play.
