The award-winning Grand Mountain Adventure brings high-octane skiing action to Android

Big Indie Awards 2018 finalist Grand Mountain Adventure has finally slipped and slid its way onto Android. The hotly-anticipated skiing title comes to us from developer Toppluva, a team composed of 3 thrill-seeking brothers.

You’ll start out at the very bottom of the serene ski resort of Hirschalm. This is where you’ll learn the ropes and take on a few introductory challenges, before gathering enough ski passes to unlock lifts and advance further up the mountain.

The game caters to both competitive players and those who want a more meditative, exploration-based experience. The huge, non-linear mountains are packed with secrets and different challenge types, including big air, slalom, and slopestyle. And it all controls beautifully, with an intuitive trick system making flips, spins, rails, and combos deeply satisfying to pull off.

The clean, minimalist aesthetic is bolstered by myriad environmental details, including terrifying avalanches, tumbling rocks, and some of the most convincing snow effects you’ll see on mobile. And it all adds up to a game that looks and plays just right.

Grand Mountain Adventure features 5 mountains at launch, with the first being available for free. You won’t be seeing any ads or microtransactions here, as Toppluva has instead opted for a one-off charge to unlock the later levels.
