It’s no surprise that the match-3 genre continues to be so very popular, with new ideas constantly re-igniting player interest. Now, the visually vibrant, globetrotting adventure that is Ingot Rush for iOS is here to shake up the genre in some interesting ways.

For anyone that's ever played the old arcade title Klax, you'll be on familiar ground as Ingot Rush closely replicates the same mechanics, with you being challenged to think fast, spot special ingots as they approach on a conveyor belt, and decide upon the best use of each type of ingot. And, of course, you’re going to need to match at least 3 – either diagonally, vertically, or horizontally – in order to start racking up some boast-worthy scores.

Those first few levels might get you feeling a little cocky, but don’t expect that to last forever. Ingot Rush can, when needed, deliver some super challenging and intense bouts of play that will demand fast reaction times and a decent amount of forethought.

To aid you in these trickier times, there’s the in-game shop where the effects of your magical ingots can be upgraded. The magical gold bars themselves come in all sorts of types, including the explosive TNT and thunder ingots.

And you won’t just be blowing up ingots in any old town, no sir, as Ingot Rush sees you adventuring all over the globe, from London and Paris to Tokyo and New York. This also means that the colourful visuals remain fresh all the way through the game’s sizeable campaign.
