Row row, fight the power… Oh wait, no, this is the "merrily down the stream" kind of rowing, isn't it?

It's time to get rowing, and in Row Row, you'll be doing plenty of that. This canoe based game will see you rowing left and right, and if you want to unlock all the levels and get three stars on each stage, you'll need some advice.

On top of that, there's some interesting and pretty goofy looking boats (canoes? I never know) to unlock with in-game coins, so it's time to start stocking those up too.

Read on for all of the rowing advice you could've ever wished for.

Row Row

Big jumps, perfect paths

Right so you've been rowing down the stream, merrily so, but you still can't beat those tough time trials? Well, the first thing you'll want to look at is your rowing.

Yes you can hold either side of the screen to row, and holding both won't help - you've likely already figured this out. Therefore, the method you want to adopt is alternating between rowing on each side, for about a second in length. That is, if you wish to row forward at speed. Avoiding obstacles and taking corners will make it much more difficult.

One of the things that might help are the jump ramps you can find in the game. Sliding up one of these will send you flying down stream, avoiding any potential obstacles as you fly over, and some jumps will even skip sections of the stream entirely, cutting massive corners.

These are incredibly helpful - at least, all of them aside from one, which ended up sending me off the side of the mountain and, indeed, off into the infinite abyss that is falling through the game world. Oops.

Other than that, though? These jumps will help you perfect your paths through stages, so you should always go for them.
