World of Warships Blitz is celebrating its first birthday this weekend, and we're joining in the celebrations with a giveaway of 50 free ships for our lucky readers!
The game has had a pretty wild first year so far, with over 11 million downloads and 73 million battles taking place. That's around 200,000 battles happening each and every day, which is pretty mind-boggling.
To celebrate, Wargaming are giving away special birthday crates in-game, as well as offering Birthday Tokens for completing missions and battling. You'll also get a boost to your XP and Silver rewards, and there's some special offers in the game's store to boot.
But wait, there's more! We're also getting in on the fun by offering the chance to win one of 50 ship codes for the game, which will give you the Premium, Tier 7 battleship the HMS Nelson! Not only that, but you'll get a free ship slot and 7 days of Premium time to truly enjoy it with. How's that for a birthday treat? (And yes, these codes work on both Android and iOS).
There are some caveats, of course. First off, this is only for our EU readers - the codes will only work only work on EU servers. Sorry to any American friends! And you'll need to have the game installed and the tutorial completed before you can redeem your shiny new ship.
