Heatran makes its legendary debut in Pokemon GO
It's getting hot in here
Pokemon GO is heating things up for the holiday, introducing a new Legendary Pokemon into the mix today. Fire and Steel-type Pokemon Heatran will be joining the world of Pokemon GO, appearing in Raid Battles from December 18 to January 15.
Heatran is the third Generation 4 Legendary Pokemon to arrive in Pokemon GO, following in the footsteps of Giratina and Cresselia. Cresselia just recently bowed out of Raid Battles to make room for Heatran today, so hopefully you managed to add that Legendary to your Pokedex before time ran out.
To add to all of the excitement, Pokemon GO’s holiday event also kicks off today, offering up all manner of player gifts as well as plenty of Ice-type Pokemon. Delibird’s also making a return appearance to celebrate the holiday season. One more legendary surprise is coming to Pokémon GO in 2018!
