Over on its Twitter, Nintendo has announced that Pokémon: Let's Go players can expect a neat little bonus when they load up the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Though they can be unlocked through regular play, those who have a Let's Go save file on their system will automatically be gifted Pikachu or Eevee (depending on which version of the game they own) as a support partner.
For sure, small unlocks like this are a cool little bonus, but I'm just glad that the content isn't entirely off limits to those who haven't taken Let's Go for a spin.
In Super #SmashBros. Ultimate, those with save data for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! will unlock the Partner Pikachu Spirit, and those with save data for #PokemonLetsGo, Eevee! will unlock the Partner Eevee Spirit! They can be unlocked by completing challenges too! pic.twitter.com/Sx4xIpCXwn — Nintendo AU NZ (@NintendoAUNZ) December 2, 2018
The highly-anticipated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is set for release on December 7th for Nintendo Switch. We'll have a full review out soon enough, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for that.
