Dystopian thriller Beholder is bringing sneaky strategy to Nintendo Switch
Spy on your neighbours for Big Brother
Warm Lamp Games’ chilling dystopian spy game, Beholder, is moving to Nintendo Switch in December with the help of publisher Curve Digital. Beholder has already made waves on mobile and Steam, and now it will make its way to Switch in a brand new Complete Edition that comes packaged with the Blissful Sleep DLC.
In Beholder, you’ve been hired by the state to manage an apartment building and spy on your tenants, placing wiretaps, cameras, and even searching through their belongings. Report any shady business, whether that’s brewing rebellion or anything else Big Brother might be wary of.
As you might have guessed, you’ll be forced to make some hefty decisions in this game, choosing whether to turn your neighbours into the state or protect them from the corrupt government. Beholder draws some parallels to Papers, Please, wherein you’ll need to choose between protecting yourself or standing up for what you believe in. Either way, there’s not always a happy ending.
Beholder: Complete Edition launches on December 6 on Nintendo Switch.
