1
Getting Hero shards

You need one thing to get more heroes, and that's hero shards, which you can get in a number of ways.

But before that, let's get planning. How many are you going to need? Because lofty ambitions are great, but not immediately achievable.

Basically, if you need 65 hero shards to get a character, that might take a while, but 10? That can be done pretty quickly, and will help you fill out your team.

You can check how many shards are required, and which story stages hide shards, from the party menu.

2
Chest of booty

One of the many ways you'll be earning hero shards is from chests which will give you a variety of rewards.

One of these chests will be found on the main screen, next to quests, and can be opened several times a day.

The free chest in the shop can also be opened several times, with increasingly rarer rewards, so keep checking back on that one.

Questing

Ah yes, what every game needs, an extra objective (or dozens) to keep that feeling of progression going. Here in Sega Heroes, we have loads and loads of quests and achievements.

Completing quests and achievements from the quests screen will give you untold riches, energy, hero shards, experience and much more.

As a result you should of course be checking back to the quest menu regularly, and of course collecting the rewards in order to level up and move forward fast.

4
Fighting on

Of course it's only going to get easier and easier to get new heroes and hero shards if you ensure to continue clearing stages.

The farther you progress, the more stages will offer up new hero shards for you to collect and unlock heroes.

If you're at your limits in the stage progression, try getting materials from the events, which will let you upgrade the individual attack of your heroes.
