Teaming up

The most important thing to know in the new Zombie horde mode is that it's coop. Yep, other players are your friends here.

That means if you stick with other players, watch one another's backs, you'll stand much more of a chance at victory.

Try and stay near other players and don't run off by yourself. If you can find a team of good players that work well together, stick with them for as long as you can.

Getting rewards

Getting zombie kills will slowly give you rewards as you progress. There's loads of cash and gear on the line, so it's worth diving into.

In order, you can earn…

Fire molotovs x20 5,000 cash Fire molotovs x20 10,000 cash Fire molotovs x20 20,000 cash Fire molotovs x20 Zombie Incinerator

Seems like a lot of molotovs, right? Well, zombies are weak to fire, so that'll help you rank up the tiers quickly.

Fighting the horde

Once you're in battle with zombies you should of course stay with your team, but where the team chooses to locate themselves is important.

With luck you'll be able to force zombies to approach you through a bottleneck - between sandbags or through a doorway. This makes them much easier to deal with.

Of course always ensure your team has a way out in case you get overwhelmed.

Camping out

Of course, you can't always depend on your team. People just love to run off by themselves, don't they?

If you can't stick with a team, or can only find a single reliable player, then perhaps just camp out somewhere.

There's no reason to run around the map unless zombies have you overwhelmed. In fact, most of the time, you should stay as stationary as possible, hold down a single area, and then make a move when there are too many to deal with. Or, y'know, use molotovs.
