The X Factor Life cheats and tips - Everything you need to know before playing
Become an X Factor star with these tips
I've always wanted to be a pop star. Just like some of the biggest stars, my voice is pretty passable with some heavy production. I just don't have the look for it.
A shame, but them's the breaks. But finally, I can live out the dream in X Factor Life. It's an X Factor mobile game.
But before you get started there's a bunch of things you should know, which is why we've put down this all-important list.
1
Boys VS Girls
The first thing you need to do in the game - which isn't very clear - is choose whether you're going to be playing as a boy, or a girl.
On the main menu screen you'll see a Boys and Girls option near the top. Each character episode in the boys and girls side unlocks individually, so to progress, pick one and stick to it.
The story plays out the same pretty much, with some gender roles swapped, so don't feel like you're missing out on much.
2
Gem saver
Many decisions in the game will be given to you only if you have saved up gems. Gems being the premium currency the game uses.
You can save those gems simply by being conservative. Change your clothes? Nope, I'm saving cash.
Gems are hard to come by so for many situations it's worth saving and you won't miss much.
3
Taking the chance
But of course, that doesn't mean you should avoid using gems at all. There will be plenty of opportunities to do so, you should just be selective about the moments you really want to see.
Save up those gems, and when a special moment comes up, you can spend without hesitation.
It's all about smart spending decisions. Just like in real life. Which is why you need advice.
4
Pacifist or antagonist
The most important part of the game is knowing when to put your foot down, or be as friendly as possible.
You're going to meet a lot of characters and, honestly? Some of them are right narcissists. Not in the mood for that, and neither should you be.
You can always put your foot down and tell these people where to stick it, so feel free and proud to stand up for yourself.
