Old-school arcade game Toki is getting a remake for Nintendo Switch by the end of this year, and it’s looking quite nice. The game originally released back in 1989, where it achieved cult status in arcades for its tough-as-nails platforming action.

The remake features redrawn artwork, and the hand-animated look is quite striking. The music has also been remastered, giving Toki a full makeover. While the game looks much more up to date, it will feature the same story and gameplay, telling the tale of a man turned into a chimpanzee, who goes on an adventure to find the wizard who cursed him and transform back into his original form.

Toki is getting a physical release, the Retrollector Edition, that will actually ship with a miniature arcade cabinet, along with a hard copy of the game, a 16-page comic book, two art prints, and a set of stickers. The game will also be available in digital form on the eShop.

Toki: The Retrollector Edition arrives on November 22 in Europe and December 4 in the United States, while the digital version launches worldwide on December 4.
