Meltan’s evolved form, which was teased in a video a few weeks back, was just revealed by the Pokemon Company. Meet Melmetal, a much larger and intimidating creature that evolves when enough Meltan fuse together.

Melmetal is a hulking Steel-type Pokemon weighing in at 1,763 pounds. Melmetal actually has ancient origins—it hasn’t been seen in 3,000 years. It’s said that the Pokemon was worshipped for its metal-making abilities. The mystical Pokemon learns a new Steel-type move called Double Iron Bash, in which Melmetal spins its arms to deal a double strike to its enemy. This move has the potential to make opponents flinch.

You will be able to evolve Meltan into Melmetal in Pokemon GO by using 400 Meltan Candies which you can earn via the traditional routes in Pokemon GO, or by moving Meltan to your Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee! games. You can get extra candies, too, by trading with your friends or using Rare Candies.

As we learned earlier this month, you’ll be able to catch Meltan by transferring any Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee! Doing so will reward you with a Mystery Box that will allow you to encounter Meltan in the wild in Pokemon GO.

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! launch on Nintendo Switch on November 16.
