3 new GameCube controllers for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are up for pre-order

PDP, purveyors of assorted video game peripherals, just revealed three new GameCube-inspired controllers for Switch, just in time for the launch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The GameCube controller is the controller of choice for many Smash Bros. players, and Nintendo’s releasing a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate-themed GameCube controller of its own. However, these new third-party controllers will offer some tempting alternatives (plus, you’ll want enough to play with friends, obviously).

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The controllers are decked out in Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon regalia, and will be releasing the same day as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, conveniently enough. They feature a 10-foot USB controller, and you’ll be able to swap out the smaller C-Stick for a full-sized stick.

You can pre-order the controllers on Amazon in the US, but no news yet on the UK or mainland Europe.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (and the aforementioned controllers) launches on December 7. We were lucky enough to give the game a quick preview, and we feel it’s shaping up to be one of the best entries in the series.
