Play all sorts of games on your mobile with Microsoft's Project xCloud
Console games on the go?
Microsoft's dropped a bombshell today as it reveals Project xCloud, a streaming service that should let you play all sorts of games on all sorts of devices. Since there's a lot of information touched on you can read the full article here and check out the video below.
We actually heard about this service first back at E3 in June, though there was little more than a handful of promising words, but here we are. Now it really looks like we're on the cusp of being able to play Xbox games on our phones or tablets.
The whole point of the service is to give gamers the choice to play the games they want on the devices they want to use. Though it'll be a multi-year journey, private testing is currently underway and the first public trials should begin in 2019.
While Microsoft ensure that it's not giving up the goat with console gaming, it's more to make it so folks who don't have access to console or PC can still join in on the fun.
