Identity V is back on the menu this week as it plans to launch its next big update and annual expansion pack with a whole lot to add. So far as I'm aware, the pack will be free and hits out on October 4th on iOS and Android.

It feels about right that Identity V is getting a bit of love since October is the spookiest month of the year. If it seems familiar to some of you, that's because it borrows from the multiplayer horror game, Dead by Daylight (where four of you are survivors and one is a killer) and it's rather good fun.

In this content update there are three major points to look forward to. A cool new mode, Duo Hunters, will be debuting. Here you'll be doubling up - that means eight survivors and two hunters - to see who'll make it out alive in this game of cat and mouse.

You'll also get to meet a new hunter, Wu Chang, who bears two souls in a single body. The fact that you can change between skins makes Wu the first hunter who can switch forms. You can see him in action in the video above.

Finally the newest map, Moon River Park, is the biggest one to date. Aside from looking super cool and creepy, you can also interact with various elements, like the carousel or rollercoaster.

There'll be plenty more tweaks, updates, and changes coming throughout the month, so watch this space.
