The PlayStation Classic is certainly adorable, but will it really be worth the money?

Earlier today Sony announced that it'd be following suit of SEGA and Nintendo and their tiny consoles by revealing a tiny console of its own - the PlayStation Classic. It'll be coming to retail on December 3rd 2018 for £89/$99.

The PlayStation Classic takes on the PlayStation One appearance but it's about 45% smaller and you can't play any discs on it unfortunately. You'll run it through a HDMI cable, will get two wired PS1 controllers with it, and it'll come with a virtual memory card for your saves.

Though you can't dust off any old PlayStation games, the teeny console will come with 20 classic games built in. So far we know Tekken 3, Final Fantasy VII, Ridge Racer Type 4, Wild Arms, and Jumping Flash are part of the package, but what about the other 15?

If you know me at all, you'll know I grew up a Sony girl so this is a very promising device... so long as the games are worth paying for.

I'd hope they'd include the original Resident Evil, Soul Reaver, the original Tomb Raider, Cool Boarders, and maybe even Metal Gear Solid, but we'll have to wait and see how it pans out. I also highly doubt we'll be seeing Spyro or Crash Bandicoot in the line-up.
