Apple reportedly unveiling three new iPhones next week

It feels like there is an Apple event every month - just when you think people have stopped talking about one, on comes another. That said, Apple's next event does seem like a big deal since, according to our sister site PocketGamer.biz, three new iPhone devices will be shown off.

The event will take place at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino on September 12th at 10 am PDT (6 pm BST). Apple is expected to announce new models from various products, like the Apple Watch, but the main focus seems to be directed towards these new iPhones.

There is speculation that one of these phones will be identical to the iPhone X but with a bigger 6.5-inch screen. It's difficult to say what else Apple has in store for us, but as prices for high-end phones just keeping going up and up perhaps Apple is considering targeting a more economically-conscious consumer this year (they'll still be super expensive).

Hopefully, we'll see a stronger emphasis on gaming at this event too - last year the Vainglory demonstration showed off the iPhone X's multitasking functionality, so fingers crossed we'll see similar stuff next week.

Apple's new phones will be unveiled at the Steve Jobs Theater on September 12th at 10am PDT (6pm BST).
